Run of the River, a Leavenworth, Washington bed and breakfast, is the ideal getaway location for anyone who is interested in seeing Washington state at its best. The Inn and Refuge rests on a high water channel of the Icicle River — about a half-mile upriver from the Bavarian town of Leavenworth, WA. We are a luxury inn surrounded on two sides by Washington Department of Wildlife bird refuge, home to deer, coyote, and the occasional bear and elk. It's a birder's paradise, where guests regularly spy great blue heron, osprey, owls, kingfishers, geese and a variety of ducks.

Run of the River Inn and Refuge now offers intimate wedding and elopement packages and romantic suites for honeymoons, vow renewals and other special celebrations.

What makes Run of the River Bed and Breakfast the perfect getaway? A Five Course Gourmet Breakfast! Favorites include Banana Pancakes with Carmel Syrup, Swiss & Mushroom Quiche, and Apple Crescent Bread Pudding.

We cater to outdoor enthusiasts and offer adventure tips for hiking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing, trail running – and much more. We also provide Washington state touring itineraries.  See Washington the smart way!

Run of the River B&B Adventure Suites feature great views of the Cascades, river and refuge, private decks with lots of relaxing space, fireplaces and spa tubs surrounded by river rock, spacious bathrooms, king beds with linens of the highest quality, Hi-Speed Wireless Internet, DVD players, and special touches. All of our suites are adult-only. Our inn and grounds are smoke-free.

The Leavenworth Summer Theater: The 2012 lineup is "Annie Get Your Gun", "Thoroughly Modern Millie," and of course, "The Sound of Music. " Tickets go on sale in June, you can check their website for performance dates.
