Lost and Found
All found items and items left behind will be held for 90 days.
Winter driving conditions can begin as early as October and continue through April. When traveling to Leavenworth, chances are very good that you will travel through the mountains and over passes. Therefore, you should have an all-wheel drive vehicle and carry chains with you (to control damages incurred, rental companies no longer supply chains for their customers.)
Our county roads and driveways are (with rare exception) maintained and in good condition. There are times, however, when it becomes necessary for one or more of the mountain passes to close. The Washington State Department of Transportation does an excellent job of maintaining the highways and most closures are brief (usually for clearing or avalanche control). As a courtesy, we will only refund deposits if both Stevens (Highway 2) and Snoqualmie (I-90) passes are closed and are deemed impassable for the day.
If you make a winter reservation please take caution and prepare for winter driving conditions. See our website for more information and our Winter Driving Survival Guide. Additionally, when flying you may wish to fly into Pangborn Municipal Airport (EAT) in Wenatchee, WA. Alaska/Horizon air services this airport.
